Employee Wellbeing

At TOHO, we are undertaking a wide range of initiatives to realize our material issue of creating a vibrant and healthy workplace where everyone can thrive.
We promote our own distinctive approach to health and well‑being, recognizing that employees’ physical and mental well‑being forms the foundation for the growth of both our people and the company.

Mental Health

Amid ongoing changes in the working environment, including business expansion and the renewal of personnel systems, TOHO strengthened its approach to mental health by formulating the Three‑Year Mental Well‑Being Plan in 2025. This plan targets three stages of support: primary prevention, preventing mental health issues before they arise; secondary prevention, early detection and appropriate intervention; and tertiary prevention, support for employees returning to work. We are working to improve our systems so employees can focus on their recovery with peace of mind, and so both affected individuals and their colleagues can navigate leave and return‑to‑work processes with confidence.

Physical Health

Ongoing physical training is essential for employees to maintain their health. TOHO’s initiatives include posting Landolt C symbols, which are commonly used in Japanese vision tests, around the office to help reduce eye strain; promoting simple exercises employees can do while at work; encouraging the use of partner sports gyms; and regularly distributing health information. We will continue to support employees in sustaining their health comfortably and sustainably.
