TOHO introduced Wevox, an engagement survey developed by Atrae, in July 2021 and has conducted it monthly as an online survey. We continue to track these survey results regularly to inform concrete actions.

TOHO CHALLENGE AWARD

Since 2023, TOHO has continued the TOHO CHALLENGE AWARD to further cultivate a culture that celebrates challenge and does not place blame for failure. The purpose of the award is to shine a light on challenges of all sizes, sharing and championing the spirit of these efforts across the organization.

TOHO University: An In‑House Corporate University

Since 2022, TOHO has operated TOHO University, its in‑house corporate university, which is aimed at fostering employee growth and enhancing engagement through shared learning experiences. Guided by the themes "Inspire," "Reframe," and "Transform," the program invites top innovators from diverse fields as lecturers and offers a wide range of courses.

How We Work

At TOHO, we promote initiatives that enable flexible and creative ways of working.
We offer a flexible environment that combines a telework system with flextime that has no core hours, enabling each employee to choose the arrangement that suits them best and work efficiently. At the same time, we actively promote paid leave and implement measures to prevent long working hours.

Workplace Environment

To promote more flexible ways of working, TOHO has introduced a free‑address system and, beginning in 2025, expanded access to shared office spaces, creating an environment where employees have greater freedom in how and where they work. We have also introduced refresh rooms where employees can eat or take breaks at any time, helping ensure they can stay focused and productive in a comfortable environment.
